I’m having Camino envy!
During the past couple of weeks, a number of Camino Facebook friends have begun their 2015 Caminos and, as happy and as excited as I am for them, I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t also envious.
One minute they were posting pictures of their training hikes here in the U.S. or describing their anticipation or messaging me questions about what to take, and the next, boom!…they’re posting photos of themselves on the cobbled streets of St. Jean Pied de Port, on the hill above Orisson, on the trails in the French Pyrenees, or hiking down the rocky path to Zubiri.
To Cathy, Valerie, Ismael, and Rebecca, who’ve already begun, Ultreya! To Don and David, who begin in the next several days, “Buen Camino!” I am only 51 days behind you…
